According to the research by CBRE released on Tuesday, 35% of all international retailers are established in the Dutch capital. CBRE claims to be the largest worldwide consulting firm in the field of commercial real estate. The research highlights that foreign retail chains tend to prefer so-called A1 locations with a high level of footfall to establish new branches, particurlarly seen last year when Stone Island and La Perla settled in the Netherlands.
With 57,9% of foreign retailers, London represents the world’s most international retail location. The British capital is closely followed by Dubai (55,7%) and Shanghai (53,4%).
