
According to the sources, both venture capitalists are busy putting the last finishing touches on their rival bids for T-Mobile Netherlands. The value of the Dutch subsidiary of Deutsche Telecom could reach up to 3 billion euros.
Credit Suisse has reportedly been hired to guide the sale. According to insider information, the preliminary bids must be received by November 16.
Other private equity firms, such as Bain Capital and Providence, could bid for T-Mobile Netherlands as well. Liberty Global, the parent company of Ziggo is also seen as a possible candidate for a takeover of the part, just like the French telecommunications company Iliad.
