The minimum wage up per 1 july 2014

The Netherlands reviews and rises the minimum wage every year to adjust the salaries to the increase of life costs.

This week the new amounts were announced and they will entry into practice per the 1st of July 2014.

The new minimum wage per the1st of July 2014 is stated as follows:
- € 1,495.20 per month;
- € 345.05 per week;
- € 69.01 per day.


The figures were announced by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and they affect employees aged 23 and over for a full-time employment
Until the 1st of July 2014, the minimum wage per month is € 1,485.60.
