Annually, LinkedIn determines what the top 25 most requested skills are on their database of vacancies. Which candidates, and what skills are most recruiters looking for?  This study has been limited to only The Netherlands. From their available statistics, the overall top 25 skills can be found.
The top three most requested skills in The Netherlands look like this:

Statistical analysis and data mining,
Search engine marketing (SEO and SEA),
Data engineering and data warehousing.

HR and recruitment

For HR professionals, there is good news. Last year the skill of recruitment was in the fifth position This year was only marginally lower than before, with recruitment ranking seventh. It is notable that in the global rankings, recruitment falls just outside the top 25 and holds rank 26.
Another skill that the labour market and employers are looking for, and make a greater effort to retain, are employees that are specialists in employment. The skill HR benefits and compensation is at position 8 in the Dutch ranking. Obviously, HR professionals are also in demand with analytical skills, as well as any who hold the top three skills.

ICT
Recruiters engaged in recruiting staff with specific ICT skills will face a lot of competition in the labour market. Both the Dutch and the global rankings are dominated by (specific) ICT skills. Examples include Java development, Mobile development and Algorithm design.

Less marketing
In the global rankings, Marketing Campaign Management is at position 3. This is not found in the Dutch rankings. 2015 found less interest in telemarketing skills in The Netherlands. In addition to this, the 2014 ranking did not yet include Social Media Marketing and Online Marketing. However, these skills were added in 2015, but have not reached the top 25.

Conclusion
Recruiters are particularly looking for recruitment specialists, (specific) ICT specialists, and HR professionals with knowledge of employment conditions. Those with skills in these areas have a more favorable position inside of the Dutch labour market.
