The Dutch transport sector’s turnover increased by more than two percent in 2014 and thereby reached its record growth since the economic crisis.

According to the report released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), all branches of the sector contributed to this positive upturn.

The postal and courier services were a major contributor to the upturn in the industry – the sectors managed to increase their turnover by almost five percent last year. Internet shopping went through a boom and led to greater logistics demand, which caused a rapid eight percent growth within courier services.

The aviation industry announced an equal turnover as to that of 2013. While sales dropped in the first quarter, it slightly rose in subsequent quarters. Inland transport continues to grow because of positive figures of transport of goods as well as removal services. Also, water transport increased its revenue by more than one percent.

Linda is a big mind. She thinks about things that the rest normally overlook. The insight she has about the dutch job market can only be achieved through years of experience and persistence.

Her business savvy is complemented by her mastery of understanding the client's needs and requirements. For my career I could say, she was the “Mary Poppins”, who guided me through thick and thin and helped me to land a career in the Netherlands
