In his statement to the parliament Minister Asscher from Social Affairs showed no mention of the further implementation. According to CDA (Christian Democratic Appeal) representative Pieter Heerma said that he refers only to a variant in its implementation.

Asscher said that the Cabinet has come to the conclusion that the proposal is the best and the only feasible option. He goes with the idea to work out the future of this plan in consultation with employers, whereby he is open to alternatives. Come Spring, there should be a more elaborated version that is ripe
