CBS highlights on 16 July 2015 that particularly women account for the increase. Compared to June 2014, the number of employed women climbed by 85,000 to more than 3, 8 million. Business economics, administrative occupations and education are the sectors with the most remarkable rise in employed women.
Moreover, there were 289,000 new unemployment benefits paid in the first six months, which is nearly 15,000 fewer than in last year’s same period. Here, men nearly entirely account for the decrease.
