The headquarters of Essent in Den Bosch showed in the final of this election with competitor Eneco, in Rotterdam and wholesaler Makro in Amsterdam coming in behind.
Innovative culture
Essent reached the top three of the election thanks to a public vote on the internet combined with a jury verdict. The jury looked at factors such as the companies building, the location, the workplaces and the way the participating organizations created an open and innovative culture for their employees.
Home based work
Essent owes its victory to more than just the Den Bosch office. The jury also judged the company based on how it supports its employees in the so-called New World of Work. Essent Facility manager Marcel Broumels: "Essent supplies its employees with a home based work office which includes all modern conveniences such as a desk, chair and IT and telecom facilities which supports and improved productivity while working from home."
