Highest export rates since 2011

The volume of exporting goods has risen approximately 10, 2% in January 2015, which shows a great increase in comparison to the previous year. This marks the strongest growth since 2011.

According to the reports of Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) on 16 March 2015, exports of petroleum and machines have particularly been booming. Exporting food, transport equipment and chemicals grew as well, albeit less significantly.

Moreover, CBS claims that the conditions for exporting goods in March have improved. Thus, current developments concerning exchange rates are more favourable than last year. Also, Dutch entrepreneurs are more positive about foreign orders than the earlier month.
