According to an ITU study, the Netherlands was ranked at 6th in the league table of the most advanced IT economies in the world. The study also shows that 94% of Dutch households have internet access, which is 21% above the European average.

This creates huge demand for IT products and services in the Netherlands which not only explains why there is such huge demand for IT professionals , it also explains why there are so many ITC Jobs in the Netherlands. Some of the biggest ITC employers in the world such as: Tata Communications, SAS, Microsoft, NetApp, EMC, Cognizant, Google and Apple, most of which are based in Amsterdam, are regularly advertising IT jobs in the Netherlands.
