New way of working more suitable to men

AMSTERDAM – Men do not cling to a structured work environment as much as women. This is why the new way of working is more suitable to them.
This conclusion was drawn by a publisher of personality tests after they had interviewed nine hundred respondents. “The work place at home is usually less structured than at the office”, according to psychologist Olaf Korsten of test publisher Talentlens. “This is an advantage to men”. The fact that men are better at handling the more flexible circumstances of working at home is also caused by the reason that they find personal independence more important than their female colleagues according to the publisher. In addition, men find help and motivation provided by others less important than women. “At home there are no colleagues telling you whether or not you are doing well”, according to Olaf Korsten.
