40% of the Dutch Are Not Satisfied with the General Image of Their Work

More than 40% of Dutch people are not satisfied with the whole picture of their work. At least, when speaking about their salaries.
The terms of a contract provide discontent among 54% of respondents. Also, four out of ten workers are dissatisfied with their manager, according to the survey of Wage Indicator Foundation and Monsterboard regarding satisfaction in the workplace.
Colleagues seem to make work more attractive, whereby 77% of respondents said they are satisfied with their immediate colleagues.
Also, job security is a key part of satisfaction, since 75% said they are currently happy with it.
53% of respondents said that within the next twelve months they would like to find a new job. According to director of the Wage Indicator Foundation,PaulienOsse, dissatisfaction is an important reason to look for another job. “This is clearly seen in the hospitality and tourism sector, where employees are least satisfied with their jobs in general, and where the lowest salary is worthy”.
230,000people participated in the research.
