Dutch considered happiest people in EU

Dutch people aged over sixteen years are most fortunate in the European Union (EU). More than 80 percent report that they always or almost always felt happy over the last four weeks.
This comes from a study published Monday by the CBS and the European statistics agency Eurostat.

The Dutch are the most satisfied with their personal relationships, their homes, the environment and how their time is spent. However, they have the least satisfaction about their financial situation. The Finns and the Irish also scored highly in the survey. On average, one in six people in the EU are almost always happy.

Cutbacks

In Greece and Latvia, only one in three people are almost always happy. This leaves the Greeks and Latvians bottom of the list of all 28 EU Member States. For years, the Greeks have been suffering from severe budget cuts in exchange for relief. Virtually all residents saw their income or pension fall sharply and there are fewer and fewer public services.

For an expat moving to the Netherlands, getting the right direction is very important. It's important that one knows which steps and direction to take. Linda is an exceptionally talent counselor, her advice has helped me land a job within a week of coming to the Netherlands. I am grateful for her mentoring and look forward to a great working relationship in the future.

Linda is a big mind. She thinks about things that the rest normally overlook. The insight she has about the dutch job market can only be achieved through years of experience and persistence.

Her business savvy is complemented by her mastery of understanding the client's needs and requirements. For my career I could say, she was the “Mary Poppins”, who guided me through thick and thin and helped me to land a career in the Netherlands

When asked I will only refer to Linda and "Togetherabroad".
