A new durable property will be built for German logistic service provider Rhenus Contract Logistics in Son, near Eindhoven. The company decided to choose this possibility because of the location near the A50 and A2 as well as the possibility to hire a custom built distribution center.

"A combination of commercial successes and optimizing business for our curent customers made us decide to look at the possiblities for expansion" Alphons van Erven, division director of Rhenus Contract Logistics explains.

New jobs
The new building is 55,000m2 large, and building will start after the summer. The first unit is expected to be ready beginning of 2013. In this building a considerable amount of new jobs will be created.

In June this year Rhenus already opened a new site in Tilburg. With the new establishment Rhenus Contract Logistics has eight logistic centers from where European supply chain activities for e-commerce, healthcare and technology industry will be executed.
