Number of expat orders on the rise
Employees are able to obtain orders from abroad more easily. The number of expat orders has risen by 50 per cent.
According to a business survey held by Mercer, it is expected that the number of foreign orders will be on the increase this year. ManonGerritsen, expat consultant says, “Working abroad is becoming more and more popular and the orders are becoming more and more diverse. This is due to the fact that lately, a lot of companies have only been able to give out small increases in wages.” According to Mercer, the orders abroad are being used to compensate the lower wage.

Labour Market
“Other companies have noticed a scarcity in the market and therefore use international programmes to recruit talent or keep a hold of their able workers.” Also in 2013, over 70 per cent of international companies expect to set up short international contracts. Approximately 55 per cent expect an increase in the long term international contracts. Most expats are sent to the United States, Brazil, China and Australia.

Linda is a big mind. She thinks about things that the rest normally overlook. The insight she has about the dutch job market can only be achieved through years of experience and persistence.

Her business savvy is complemented by her mastery of understanding the client's needs and requirements. For my career I could say, she was the “Mary Poppins”, who guided me through thick and thin and helped me to land a career in the Netherlands
