NU.nl reports that several regions and sectors requested more time to devise the measures, which will hopefully help people find work. The government recently provided 600 million euros for job plans, distributed over three periods. The proposals of the first two periods with a volume of 450 million euros have already been allocated. The final period with 150 million euros has just been extended by Asscher.
Job plans are supposed to help unemployed people prepare for new jobs with vocational retraining and refresh courses.
