
Employees realize that a romance in the workplace can backfire on their careers.
That conclusion came out of the of a global survey by recruitment platform Monster. 39 percent of respondents believe that the relationship could jeopardies their career, and they would never start a romantic relationship with a colleague. Another 19 percent confirms the danger to possible the career, but is determined that it should not stop them from falling in love and starting a romantic relationship with a fellow colleague. Only 15 percent say that a relationship would constitutes no possible danger to the career but nevertheless they will never get involved with romance at work. The remaining 27 percent finds that romance is not harmful and would not hesitate for a romantic relationship.
