Dler Law Office, a full service business and litigation law firm headquartered in Erbil Kurdistan in northern Iraq, has established a European law firm in WTC The Hague. Due to increasing investment and trade between Iraq/Kurdistan and Europe, Mr. Dler Saber, the managing partner of Dler Law Office, decided it was time to incorporate a law office in Europe- Dler Law Office Europe BV.

As Mr. Dler Saber explained, “We carefully considered various possible locations in Europe, and we concluded that Holland would be the best option. The assistance that the West-Holland Foreign Investment Agency gave us in setting up Dler Law Office Europe BV was both valuable and encouraging- and this support further confirmed that Holland had definitely been the right choice.”

Dler Law Office focuses on business law and business litigation, arbitration, investment law, tax law, and oil and gas law, in Iraq/Kurdistan. www.dlerlawoffice.com Despite recent disturbances, the regional economy in the Kurdistan area is booming, thanks to a stable regional government, a fast growing oil and gas sector, construction, agriculture, and increasing international trade.

Dler Law Office has entered into a formal collaboration and strategic alliance with Meijer Advocaten Belastingadviseurs, a respected Dutch law firm also based in The Hague, with offices in various emerging markets. Meijer Advocaten specializes in business law, international business litigation and arbitration, and tax advice.

Dler Law Office Europe BV will start with two Dutch lawyers of Kurdistan origin to bridge the legal and cultural gap between The Netherlands / Europe on one side, and Kurdistan / the Middle East on the other.
