Rijksmuseum is The Netherlands most visited museum attracting an amazing 2.2 million visitors every year. Located in the Museum square in the borough Amsterdam South. Founded in The Hague in the year 1800 it was then later moved to the nation’s capital, Amsterdam in 1808. In April 2013 the museum went through a makeover with cost a total of €345 million which was later reopened by Queen Beatrix.
