The two companies scored highest in overall satisfaction in the awards hosted by Effectory.

Dutch airline KLM won the category of companies with more than 1000 employees and nuclear fuel company Urenco was the best among companies with fewer than 1,000 employees .

Scania and Nedmag Industries scored highest in the category ‘largest contributor to overall satisfaction.’

The score is determined by the overall satisfaction of the employees of the organization. Both KLM and Urenco achieved a 8.9. The average in the Netherlands is 7.5.

Job security

For the awards a total of 316 companies were surveyed and confidence and job security were key components this year.

The 100 best employers in the Netherlands scored on factors such as: community involvement, appreciation, work/ life balance, equal career opportunities, clear objectives, organizational pride and customer focus.

A high number of employees who work at a best employer company are also much prouder of their organization.

“There is no unnecessary bureaucracy and control in top employer companies; the number of managers or management layers is limited. Important information is shared, allowing employees to be part of decisions and less control is needed," explains Effectory director Guido Heezen.

Linda is a big mind. She thinks about things that the rest normally overlook. The insight she has about the dutch job market can only be achieved through years of experience and persistence.

Her business savvy is complemented by her mastery of understanding the client's needs and requirements. For my career I could say, she was the “Mary Poppins”, who guided me through thick and thin and helped me to land a career in the Netherlands
