Hornbach to expand workforce by 350 new employees

The “Do-it-yourself” chain Hornbach expands its workforce in the Netherlands by more than a quarter this year. The German hardware company will open two new branches in Geelen and Best as well as a customer service centre.

This was published in Hornbach press release on Thursday 21 May 2015. Accordingly, 350 new employees will be hired over the course of the year, making the overall number of workers exceed to 1,600 in the Netherlands.

The company has been established for about 18 years in the Netherlands and currently have nine branches. In Europe, Hornbach has almost 150 stores, which almost a hundred of the stores are located in Germany. In total, Hornbach has employed more than 16,000 workers.
