
AMSTERDAM - Employers Organisation ABU and the unions have reached agreement on a new collective agreement for temporary workers. The collective agreement has a term of five years. That left the organizations said in a joint press release Thursday.
The most important clause in the new agreement is that the wages of all agency workers should be based on the salary that the hiring comany pays to its own employees.
Recruitment agencies may still determine the wages only for those employees who have permanant contractw u the the recruitment agency and for employees who have been long term unemployed or are partially disabled and therefore’- said a spokesman ABU.
Further the collective agreement stipulates that the wagesshould be risen per 1 september with 1.55 percent.
