Process Control Engineer Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for optimum availability of the process control systems and applications on board the dredging equipment.
  • Examine and translate users' requirements and/or equipment-related process control queries into appropriate solutions, which take account of suitability in practice (feasibility).
  • Providing technical support with a view to resolving problems with regard to the control systems as rapidly as possible.
  • Assisting with operational implementation of the PLC&SCADA modifications.
  • Introducing new developments to the crew and provide support with trouble shooting.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience
  • Experience in developing process control narratives
  • Experience in control & Maintenance; Operations & Maintenance philosophy.
  • International project experience is preferred
  • Proficient in English
