Proposal Manager Job description
Responsibilities
- Develops the Proposal Plan and review the Enquiry Summary, if necessary; 
 - Organizes and holds the bid kick-off meeting; 
 - Defines the bid cost structure, with the support of the Offshore Estimator; 
 - Manages the interfaces with Partners and Client; 
 - Approves the scope of work of each party involved in the bid; 
 - Analyses Contract requirements and conditions; 
 - Assists in bid vendors list definition; 
 - Approves the cost estimate of materials developed by the Offshore Estimator; 
 - Prepares the bidding documents for the subcontract RFQ’s; 
 - Approves the cost estimates of subcontracts developed by the Offshore Estimator; 
 - Identifies the pre-bid agreements to be completed, if necessary; 
 - Approves the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the Offshore Estimator and based on the evaluations made by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement, assets management); 
 - Approves the preliminary project cash flow developed by the Offshore Estimator; 
 - Endorses the project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, overall resources plan developed by the Operations Coordinator; 
 - Integrates proposal packages prepared by the individual Operating Companies and Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies; 
 - Discusses with the Commercial Managers and approve each Operating Company proposal package in accordance with the BU's Commercial strategy; 
 - Submits the proposal to the Client. 
 
Requirements
- 10+ years of project or proposal experience 
 - Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred
